Can you feel it? The excitement is almost palpable. There’s something in the air. This can mean only one thing.
The 24 season premiere is almost here. Yes, in just 5 hours, Season 8 of 24 begins.
When we last saw our hero, Keifer Sutherland‘s Jack Bauer had just managed to save the world once again. His daughter, Kim Bauer (played by Elisha Cuthbert), had agreed to undergo a stem cell procedure to save her father’s life.
President Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones), meanwhile, had turned in her own daughter for crimes against the state.
Sounds like a party!
Season 8 picks up in New York, and Jack is called upon to help defeat a plot to assassinate a Middle Eastern peace-keeping leader.
This season should be action-packed and full of surprises. I don’t want to go into too much detail, but look for scumbag Charles Logan (played by Gregory Itzin) to reappear this year.
Oh, and expect to see more of Chloe O’Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub).
This year, Rajskub said, “people don’t listen to my ideas so I take things into my own hands.”
We can’t wait!
