The dust has settled and the results are in.
After Monday night’s round of live performances, The Voice crowned its Season 2 winner last night: Jermaine Paul.
Paul was a member of the team coached by Blake Shelton.
The singer landed himself a deal with Universal Records after nabbing just 4 percent more votes than runner-up Juliet Simms.
“I just wanted to say thank you for everyone that voted for me,” an emotional Jermaine Paul told the crowd. “God bless y’all, man. Nobody but Jesus, man, nobody!”
Above, take a look at one of the performances that put Paul, a former backup singer for Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige, over the top as he sings, “I Believe I Can Fly.”
