2012 Billboard Music Awards: COMPLETE WINNERS LIST

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards last night, and the show was a veritable “who’s who” in pop music.

Although she wasn’t given any awards during its live telecast itself, Adele actually nabbed the most gongs, amassing 12 awards, including Top Artist.

Adele sealed her romp by landing two gongs in album awards and song awards categories each, thanks to her ground-breaking album “21″ and her hit single “Rolling in the Deep.”

In the Top Artist category, Adele beat out Lady GaGa, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry, and Rihanna. Despite receiving the most awards, the British pop star didn’t actually appear at the live event, which was held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

LMFAO were the second top winners, grabbing six awards, with their “Party Rock Anthem” nabbing five nods.

Coldplay and Lil Wayne each got four awards each, while Casting Crowns, Jason Aldean, and Lady Gaga each took home two awards.

Justin Bieber took home “Top Social Artist” honors, Taylor Swift took “Woman of the Year,” and Whitney Houston received the Millenium Award, while Stevie Wonder was honored with the Billboard Icon Award.
