No High Fives at hi5 Today, Half of Staff Laid Off

Facebook Status Update: CFO Gideon Yu = Gone

The Wall Street Journal has confirmed that Facebook is losing CFO Gideon Yu.
Part of the reasoning is throught to be that Facebook could be getting ready for an early bid at an IPO and wants a CFO with a bit more public company experience.

YouTube Forms In-Stream Ad Deal with Disney

YouTube has just announced that it will offer short-form, in-stream content from the Disney/ABC Television Group.

Doctors Practice on Patients in Second Life

Internet Advertising Grew 10 Percent Last Year, Outpaced TV

The Interactive Advertising Bureau reported yesteray that U.S. web advertising increased by 10.6 percent to $23.4 billion in 2008.  Not only that, but the $6.1 billion 4th quarter was the very first time web advertising exceeded $6 billion.

Sedo Sells Results.com for $500,000
