Maybe some people really do have a reason to fear Friday the 13th.
A 13 year-old boy in England was struck by lightning at 13:13 on Friday the 13th and whisked to the hospital.
The as yet unnamed boy was treated for a minor burn after he and two other people were struck along with two others at an air show in Suffolk.
It had been raining heavily all day before witnesses recalled seeing a big flash of lightning accompanied by a loud clap of thunder over the sea.
In addition to the boy, two others were treated for lightning burn injuries within twenty minutes. Unfortunately, all three people were holding umbrellas at the time, which conduct electricity.
The boy is said to be recovering well.
