Apple has just issued a press release claiming that the Safari 4 browser has topped 11 million downloads in just three days of release.
It also says that more than 50 percent of those downloads (~6 million) were for the Windows version of the program.
“Safari 4 is an incredible success on Mac and Windows with more than 11 million downloads in the first three days,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “Safari users love the incredible speed and innovative features like Top Sites, Full History Search and Cover Flow.”
Opera is ready for a counter-strike. The company has just released Opera 10 in beta and we've been presented with this cryptic message...
I would love to say that we have a clue, but we don't. I guess we'll have to tune in on June 16th and see what all the mystery and suspense is about.
